By car: The city of Florence can be reached by car via the motorway A1 (Milan-Naples) and A11 (Firenze-Mare). It'sconnected with the cities of Pisa and Livorno through highway FI-PI-LI, and the city of Siena with the Florence-Siena motorway.
By plane: Florence has got an international airport, named Amerigo Vespucci and located in Peretola, just 5km from the city center. Alternatively you can use daily links to and from the international airport of Pisa Galileo Galilei.
By train: The city has three main stations: Santa Maria Novella, Campo di Marte, and Rifredi. The first is the largest, in which stop and start the trains to and from all major destinations in italy. Following station Campo di Marte, located right in front of the Artemio Franchi stadium and a few kilometers away from downtown. Trains that stop here are almost all regional trains from the south. By bus: The inter-town bus line is managed by different companies, including SITA, whose station is directly opposite the Train Station SMN. Other companies are CAP, LAZZI, COPIT, operating the bus on arrival and departure from other cities in the region.
