Geography: The city of Florence is located in Tuscany, in central-northern Italy, and is bordered to the north and east by the Emilia-Romagna (provinces of Ravenna, Bologna and Forlì-Cesena), south-east with the Province of Arezzo , south to the Province of Siena, and on the west by the provinces of Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia and Prato. It's crossed from the river Arno and is surrounded by Monte Morello and the hills of Fiesole, Arcetri and Settignano.
