Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400gr of fresh tomatoes peeled and without seeds
  • Stale Tuscan bread g 250
  • Basil
  • Half onion
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt, pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic

Put in a bowl the bread pieces and pour the broth over it to soak. In a saucepan with 5 tablespoons of oil to sauté the onion and garlic. Combine the chopped tomatoes and let them stay for a few minutes, then add the basil and bread. Bake for half an hour stirring frequently. At the end of baking bread should be completely undone, and then remove the basil, serve with a wisp of raw oil.
