Stadio Artemio Franchi (Artemio Franchi Stadium), located in the district of Campo di Marte, is the municipal stadium in Florence, and is deputy to host concerts, events and mainly matches of the football team of the city, Fiorentina . The stadium dates back to early 1930, and was heavily restored during the World Cup 1990 held in Italy. Inside the stadium has an asymmetrical plan, with form of D, in honor of Mussolini (Duce). On the opposite side the grandstand rushed slender Marathon Tower, high over 60 meters, which has become a symbol of the stadium.
