Galleria degli Uffizi (Uffizi Gallery) is one of the most important Italian museums, famous all over the world. It houses a huge collection of works of art, exhibiting works by Giotto, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, Canaletto, Bernini and many others. It's one of the main attractions of the city, visited every year by more than 1.5 million of tourists. The construction of Gallery, originally a place to gather the most important Florentine magistrates (Offices), it began in the early 500s, but shortly afterwards it began to collect paintings, sculptures and works of art, until to become one of the landmarks in the world of art.
