Giardino di Boboli (boboli garten), originally built as a Palazzo Pitti garden , is a beautiful example of Italian garden, and is enriched by an extraordinary collection of sculptures from various historical periods. The construction of the boboli garten began in the fifteenth century, but because of the many enhancements made lasted until the nineteenth century. The garden has an area of 45,000 sqm and is slightly uphill. From many points you can have a view of the city really unforgettable. The garden is adorned with buildings such as the amphitheater, the fountain of Neptune and the Egyptian obelisk, the only one across the Tuscany.

boboli gartens is very well attended by the Florentines, for which admission is free.
