Siena is a Tuscan town, capital of the Siena Provinz. It's world-famous for the beauty of its historic center, declared World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, and the Palio, a horse race between the neighborhoods of the city that takes place twice a year (July 2nd : Palio di Provenzano, August 16th: Palio of Assunta) in the central Piazza del Campo. The most important things to see are the beautiful kathedrale, the Public Palace with the Torre del Mangia (Mangia Tower) and the Basilica of San kuppelnico.
