Mit dem Auto: The city is chaotic, like other Italian cities of equal size. The traffic is busy during peak hours around the area of the circular paths. The car parks are all paid, or reserved for residents. In case you have not owned a car, there are many rental agencies in town, including Hertz and Avis.

Mit dem Bus: The local public transport in the city of Florence is run by two companies: ATAF and Li-nea. Please refer to their websites for information on schedules, times and covered areas of the city.

Mit dem Taxi: One of the most common ways to run a city is by taxi. In Florence the taxi station is in the square of the railway station (Santa Maria Novella). It's possible to book a taxi via telephone dialing 055-4390.
